vizag_aerial_viewThe Visakhapatnam-Chennai Industrial Corridor Development Program (VCICDP) is proposed in line with the ambitions of Government of Andhra Pradesh (GoAP) for enhanced and sustained industrial growth of the State. VCICDP is aimed at boosting manufacturing sector along Visakhapatnam-Chennai Industrial Corridor (VCIC), which runs over 800 km from north to south covering almost entire coastline of the State of Andhra Pradesh with a population of nearly 50 million and an area of 160,200 sq km. This is the first project taken up by Government of Andhra Pradesh after State bifurcation. This project includes detailed design of nearly 415 km of industrial road sections to 4 lanes for uninterrupted movement of goods and passengers, with an estimated construction cost of over INR 20 billion. This project includes more than 4 km elevated road along Uppada beach. VCIC is part of the East Coast Economic Corridor, which is India’s first coastal economic corridor, and is poised to play a critical role in driving India’s new “Act East Policy” and “Make in India” initiatives.
bridgeThis project includes detailed design of a new bridge parallel to the existing 4 lane bridge, popularly known as Mahatma Gandhi Setu in the State of Bihar, which is the longest river bridge in India. The proposed new bridge of 5.6 km long will complement the existing Mahatma Gandhi Setu and becomes the only bridge to cross river Ganga in Bihar with estimated traffic volume of more than 60,000 PCU per day and one of the world’s longest multi-pylon bridges. The estimated construction cost of this 4 lane bridge with 8 lane approach roads of 9.5 km long is around INR 30 billion.
road_construction2This project includes construction supervision of improvement of nearly 265 km of road sections divided into three packages under item rate contracts. The scope includes supervising and approving materials and workmanship of the works. The Engineer administers the works contracts and ensures that the contractual clauses related to quantity or quality are complied with, including decision making, issuing certificates and orders as specified in Contract Documents. The Engineer will coordinate with the supervision teams to ensure that the Technical Policies are correctly and consistently implemented on all work sites. The Engineer also reviews and approves the work zone, plants site and quarry locations, safety plan and ensure its compliance.
activation-area-1The Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR) is the first investment region to be implemented under Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) project. As a major new city, Dholera is a Greenfield industrial hub located approximately 100 km south of Ahmedabad in Gujarat. It is planned to create an economically and socially balanced new-age city with world class infrastructure and highest quality of life standards and sustainability in the urban development context. This project includes supervising construction of Roads and Services of TP2 East (Activation Area) and construction of Administration and Business Centre of Dholera (ABCD) Building under EPC mode. Roads and services include construction of Urban infrastructure, viz, 72 km of roads, 144 km of water, wastewater, stormwater network lines, power and ICT ducts etc while ABCD building includes construction of eight storied LEED Gold certified Building including landscape and area development.
