Mines and Minerals Division of SATRA® Group was established in 2013 considering the potential contribution of mining sector to the growth of GDP and unlimited opportunities that it offers. Initially the company's focus was in the areas of Granite, Quartz, Quartzite and Laterite minerals. Now, other minerals such as Manganese and Iron Ore are also included in prime focus for exploration.

In 2014, SATRA® spread out its wings in the agriculture sector with a revolutionary mandate to tap into the power of rural communities. SATRA's focus areas are contract farming, supply chain management, establishment of custom hiring centers, initiation of seed and fodder banks, protective cultivation of highly remunerative vegetables, fruits & flowers, establishing agro knowledge hubs in rural areas and agro research & development. With this recent move, SATRA has further diversified its business interests, consolidated its strength and capabilities as an organisation.
